Educational justice in higher education implies the equitable and fair access of all interested individuals with academic capability to university opportunities, such that variables like socio-economic class, gender, ethnicity, religion, language, and parental occupation are not considered criteria for presence or benefit from higher education. The realization of educational justice requires creating a safe and low-stress learning environment, uniform implementation of educational laws and regulations for all students, providing a path for growth and flourishing, and creating conditions for acquiring skills and preparation for the labor market. Within this framework, the challenges of educational justice can be analyzed at both the micro level (student-faculty interaction, fairness in evaluation, access to capable professors, academic and career counseling, gender equity, and disciplinary processes) and the macro level (policy-making, educational planning, admission and selection mechanisms, and resource distribution). Proposed strategies include clarifying the concept of educational justice for stakeholders, extracting teaching methods tailored to Iran's cultural and social context based on scientific findings, designing a practical model of educational justice through comprehensive needs assessment, expanding blended in-person and virtual education to reduce costs and inequalities, enhancing instructors' competencies and equity orientation, revising curricula with an emphasis on life and psychosocial skills, innovating in the qualitative components of education, reforming student selection mechanisms, and strengthening the bond between researchers and policy-makers to reduce the research-practice gap.
