Divorce, as an escalating social crisis in Iran, is the result of the interaction of psychological, social, economic, cultural, and legal factors, and its management requires a multidimensional and preventive approach. Problem analysis indicates that focusing solely on judicial mechanisms to resolve disputes, without specialized pre-marital and pre-divorce interventions, leads to the continuation of the cycle of separation and post-divorce trauma. From a psychological perspective, identifying and intervening in individual disorders and relational conflicts, as well as developing specialized counseling services, is a prerequisite for reducing premature and irrational divorces. From a legal perspective, certain legal gaps and regulations can facilitate the divorce process and exacerbate family trauma, thereby necessitating revision. From the perspective of social work and social policy, the post-divorce support system and assistance measures for family restructuring, particularly for children, are of key importance. Proposed strategies include making pre-marital and pre-divorce counseling mandatory, specialized training for judges and officials, institutional coherence centered on the judiciary, evaluation and organization of counseling centers and clinics centered on universities, controlling unauthorized and non-specialized centers, strengthening academic research for policymaking, and designing educational tools and preventive software for the target population.
