The media representation of the Islamic Revolution in external broadcasting productions, through the combination of engaging imagery, selective narration, and framing techniques, can structure audience perception toward inducing "public satisfaction in the 1970s" and reducing protests to chaos and destruction, thereby undermining the possibility of precise historical judgment. An analysis of the structure and content of a television documentary regarding the 1957 (1357) revolution indicates that the use of rarely seen footage, alongside the omission of socio-political contexts and the highlighting of urban development signs, leads to the formation of a one-sided narrative that, despite its appeal, entails misdirection and distortion. This pattern takes shape within a framework of informational vacuum resulting from domestic media's insufficient attention to contemporary history and the failure to present transparent, explicit, and documented narratives of the revolution's events. Under such conditions, enhancing the audience's media literacy is posed as a policy imperative to increase the capacity for discerning biased narratives. Proposed strategies emphasize producing well-crafted documentary and dramatic programs relying on neglected archives, providing an impartial and documented narration of revolutionary events for the younger generation, and designing a series of research and media topics (such as analyzing 1970s political groups, the structure of the Pahlavi economy, the role of social strata, and the relationship between media and public trust) to reconstruct historical understanding and diminish the field of influence of distorted narratives.
